Anatomy of Emoton
Frequently Asked Questions

How is this course set up?

We are using an intuitive, yet robust learning platform, called Academy of Mine. When you register and pay for the course, you’ll receive a personalized link to the course.

Will I get access to everything at once?

In order to provide a container for this practice and process, one lesson will be covered each week for 5 weeks.

As soon as you sign up, you’ll get access to introductory lectures and practices that will thread through the entire course.

Then, on Week 1, a new module will be released.

I am able to access the course portal, but the videos are not showing up. How can I fix this?

The videos are hosted in Vimeo, which is blocked in some countries. A VPN service can address this (these are also used to access Netflix, Facebook and YouTube). Two reliable services are ExpressVPN and NortVPN.

I live in a different timezone (or country or continent)? Will I be able to participate in the course?

The course is setup so that it works for individuals no matter where they live in the world. New content will be released each week, and you can work through the practices, videos and exercises at your own pace.

We also have a dedicated Facebook group set up for each course, where we’ll address questions and discuss the content. The group works well for people to drop in, comment and participate in their own time.

In what circumstances can I get a refund?

The course is non-refundable, since you get lifetime access to the content. If you have serious extenuating circumstances, email [email protected] and we’ll discuss options.

Can I rewatch or review content from earlier weeks?

Yes, absolutely. Once content for a week is unlocked, you will have access to that in the future.

How much time should I plan to spend on the course each week?

To a degree, this is up to you. Each week includes about 1.5 hours of training and practice materials. The course is set up so that many practices can be repeated daily, if you’d like. Basically, expect to spend anywhere from 3 to 9 hours per week on the course, depending on how deeply you want to immerse. Since it’s available to you after the course ends, if you are tighter on time, you can come back to the practices or spread it over additional weeks (this is very common).
