India Ayurveda Retreat 2018

November 19-27, 2018

Join Janet for a restorative and energizing retreat on the coast of Kerala, India. We’ll be hosted at a stunning Ayurvedic center overlooking the Arabian Sea. Students will received customized Ayurvedic treatments in a stunning, restful setting. Janet will offer daily yoga sessions to complement the treatments.

Designed for longtime practitioners and newer students alike, this retreat will blend formal practice and study of yoga with deep immersion into this sacred land, plenty of time for contemplation.

Training option

Students will have an opportunity to complete readings, practice and activities to earn 50 training hours for Janet’s 200, 300/500 and 1008 hour programs.

The experience of India is the great teacher through direct, personal experience of Ayurvedic treatments, observation of devotion woven into the fabric of daily life, and taking in the sights, sounds and smells of India. Each day will include 1-2 daily yoga practices, but there will not be “lecture” or presentations on theory, teaching techniques, or anatomy. Instead, practice and reading in advance will help build a foundational knowledge, and follow-up practices will be designed to support integration.
