February 7-9, 2020

We’ll meet at Esalen for a deep dive into the practice of rest. Perched where the land meets the sea, Esalen offers a respite from the busy-ness of daily life. This workshop will focus on slowing down, with sessions to explore slow flow and restorative yoga, and plenty of time in between for soaking in the hot baths, napping, and simply being.

In the early months of the year, our body is called to slow down, even as the world outside keeps moving in frenetic laps. During this weekend, we will drop into the body, mind and spirit to find space between effort and surrender, allowing our systems to release into its great integrative power.

Join me for a nourishing and introspective weekend, to explore ways to replenish the nervous system and move out of the cyclical fight-or-flight response. We’ll practice slow and fluid sequences to cultivate sustainable power from the inside out, alongside restorative postures to cultivate rest and ease. Practices will also include meditation to refill mind, body and spirit, pranayama to balance hormone levels, and chanting to awaken your heart’s longing.

Please bring a bolster, sand bag and eye pillow.
