Thursday, March 28, 6:15-8:15pm: Power Living Bondi Junction
Dive below the surface of the asana to unearth the healing aspect of the forgiveness practice. In this practice we look to move through that which is stuck and binds us in old habitual loops, patterns, and addictive behaviors—in other words to forgive is the free ourselves from some of our samskaras. The asana will focus on twists, hip and side body opening, along with the power of heating the body to detoxify.
Friday, March 29, 2-4pm: Power Living Neutral Bay (Sydney): Teachers Only Practice
This workshop offers an intuitive and introspective approach to crafting a practice. We will learn to create sequences that reflect our intentions, the collective energy in the room (and beyond), and support both experienced and new students. Sequence from a place of deeper knowing, and integrate theme, story, and music.
Friday, March 29. 6:15-8:15pm: Power Living Neutral Bay (Sydney)
In this class, expect a strong and slow asana to bring attention to the bones and earth elements of your body. The purposeful sequences and potent weight-bearing postures will help us travel deep into our roots to nourish and flourish from the inside, out.
Saturday, March 30, 7:30-9:00am: Power Living Bondi Beach: Open Class
The principles of fire in the universe are called “agni” in Sanskrit, meaning “the transforming force.” In this class, we’ll focus on the transitions between the poses in sun salutations and creative sequences designed to build heat. We’ll use the breath, body, and concentration to illuminate where we’ve been holding on and accumulating old undigested experiences in body and mind, then we’ll stoke the fire to cleanse and clear out.
Saturday, March 30, 1-4pm: Power Living Bondi Beach
Bhakti | Breath | Body Prayer
Explore the practice of bhakti yoga (yoga of love and devotion) through chanting for your own practice and to share with other. From the awakening in the mantras we’ll bring that devotion in motion and explore how alive asanas become when we infuse them with deep love and attention. Bring your voice, your intention and leave your ego at the door.
Sunday, March 31, 1-4pm, Power Living Manly (Sydney)
Nourish | Slow Flow & Restorative
Spend an afternoon slowing down. Drop into the meditation of the body and find spaces between effort and surrender, allowing the body to release into its great integrative power. We will place our bodies in postures designed to re-set the nervous system and relax the places that hold tension and old hurts.
