Begin Again: New Year’s at Haramara

Overview

As 2024 slips into our rearview mirror, we will arrive at a place that holds space for healing and nourishment from the inside out. In the serenity of the jungle, we’ll turn off all our devices and go online with our hearts, breath, and practice.

Collectively committed to being off-grid, we’ll spend our days plugged into asana, meditation, pranayama, chanting and the power of community.  We’ll have plenty of time for beach, play, and rest to heal and connect with our innermost intention for this new year while honoring the intensity and challenge that has been this last couple of years.

This spacious gathering will be about simplicity, nature, ease, and celebrating this life.

*Let me be clear, the rooms have no electricity and no connectivity… just nature, quiet, and time to listen to the breath.

Schedule

  • Each day will include an extended morning practice, and most days will also include an afternoon practice before dinner. Time in between will allow space for optional excursions, relaxing at the beach or by the pool, or exploring town.
  • New Year's Eve celebration (beach bonfire and local fireworks)
  • 3 meals daily from Haramara's incredible chef

  • Single cabanas • open air cabana with private en suite bathroom

Janet Stone

Janet Stone

Janet’s studentship began at 17 under the meditation teachings of Prem Rawat. His reverence for simplicity and finding joy in the rise and fall of life live on in her practice and teaching today. In 1996, she traveled to India, the birthplace of her grandfather, and became dedicated to the path of yoga. Janet blends the alchemy of her own practice with decades of studentship. She aspires not to teach but to allow the practice to emanate from her, letting awareness blend with movement and breath. Based in Bali and San Francisco, she leads immersions, retreats, workshops and more.
