Janet’s Bhakti Yoga Immersion offers an exploration into the heart of devotional yoga, where students learn to cultivate both personal and spiritual awakening through the lens of devotion.
We will dive into the sacred power of mantras, learning how to weave them into our lives and classes. Through the ancient tales of the puranas, storytelling becomes an integral part of the teaching, offering students a deeper understanding of the spiritual significance behind each practice. This training encourages students to live with intention, aligning daily actions with spiritual principles, creating a life of intentional living that extends far beyond the mat.
Rooted in Bhakti, Janet emphasizes the practice of yoga sequencing infused with devotion, allowing each asana flow to become a prayerful experience that honors the divine. With a focus on love, service, and surrender, this training prepares you to lead yoga classes and nurtures your connection to the divine. Whether you're a long time practitioner or new to yoga, you'll gain the tools to guide others in heart-centered practices that uplifts, heals, and inspires.
Join us in embracing Bhakti, where every breath, movement, and thought is an offering.
We will explore:
Each day will include asana, storytelling, mantra, and an exploration of bhakti yoga (devotion, participation), to cultivate a sense of wholeness and connection.

Janet’s studentship began at 17 under the meditation teachings of Prem Rawat. His reverence for simplicity and finding joy in the rise and fall of life live on in her practice and teaching today. In 1996, she traveled to India, the birthplace of her grandfather, and became dedicated to the path of yoga. Janet blends the alchemy of her own practice with decades of studentship. She aspires not to teach but to allow the practice to emanate from her, letting awareness blend with movement and breath. Based in Bali and San Francisco, she leads immersions, retreats, workshops and more.
