Janet’s studentship began at 17 under the meditation teachings of Prem Rawat. His reverence for simplicity and finding joy in the rise and fall of life live on in her practice and teaching today. In 1996, she traveled to India, the birthplace of her grandfather, and became dedicated to the path of yoga. Janet blends the alchemy of her own practice with decades of studentship. She aspires not to teach but to allow the practice to emanate from her, letting awareness blend with movement and breath. Based in Bali and San Francisco, she leads immersions, retreats, workshops and more.
The retreat will begin on the afternoon of June 15, and end after brunch on June 21.
The deposit is $808. Please read our cancellation policy. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance in case of unexpected events, as we cannot make exceptions to our policies.
You'll plan travel to arrive at the Marrakech airport by 1 pm on June 15, and to depart from Marrakech after 5 pm on June 21. We highly recommend staying extra nights in Marrakech if you can.
The best airline will depend on your departure city. We highly highly recommend booking directly with the airlines, and choosing an airline that is offering refunds or flexible changes.
The length of the flight will depend on your departure city, of course. From the US, you'll likely have a stopover in Europe. These cities (among others) have direct flights to Marrakech: Lisboa, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Amsterdam, London, Vienna.
We will work with our team in Morrocco to coordinate transportation to and from the airport (paid directly to your drivers)
You can check on visa requirements here: https://www.acces-maroc.ma/#/ (Passport holders from North America, the EU, many parts of South America, and others) are exempt from a visa as long as they are staying for fewer than 90 days.
Currency exchange services are available at the airports and in town.
