Hormonal Balance Through Ayurvedic Wisdom

Overview

Hormonal Balance through Ayurvedic Wisdom

with Janet Stone + Dr. Sujatha Kekada

A course to help you remember what your body already knows.

Through the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and the grounding practices of yoga, this four-week journey invites you to attune to your natural rhythms and reclaim hormonal balance—physically, emotionally, and energetically.

Led by global yoga teacher Janet Stone and Ayurvedic doctor Sujatha Kekada, the course blends timeless teachings with accessible tools you can use to support your unique constitution. You’ll explore how hormones and metabolism shape your lived experience—and how to create sustainable health through daily rituals, mindful choices, and deep listening.

Whether you’re in the midst of transition or simply longing to feel more attuned, this course offers a container to reconnect with your body and steady your inner rhythm.

Each Weekly Module Includes:

  • A thematic lecture with Dr. Sujatha
  • Context + guidance from Janet
  • Ayurvedic recipes + seasonal rituals
  • A yoga practice designed for hormonal response
  • Reflection prompts + journaling
  • A downloadable course handbook

The Curriculum

Week 1: Foundations

Begin with a return to the root. This module lays the groundwork for the course, introducing you to the fundamentals of Ayurveda—Doshas, Agni (digestive fire), and the interconnectedness of hormones, nervous system, and metabolism. You’ll explore how imbalance arises and how tuning into daily rhythms can guide you toward alignment.

Week 2: Metabolism

Go beyond food and digestion—this week expands your view of metabolism to include thoughts, emotions, and sensory input. You’ll learn how to regulate your inner fire (Agni), nourish your tissues, and work with subtle signs of imbalance before they become depletion. Daily rituals and meal planning support your exploration.

Week 3: Hormones

A deep dive into how hormones influence our cycles, energy levels, and emotional states. You’ll explore how estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, and other hormones interact through an Ayurvedic lens. Dr. Sujatha offers practical ways to balance hormonal shifts through food, lifestyle, and inner awareness, especially in perimenopause and beyond.

Week 4: Nervous System

This week bridges the nervous system with hormonal health. You’ll explore the impact of stress, overstimulation, and screen time on endocrine balance. Sujatha offers tools to soothe the system, while Janet guides you through practices that rewire your response from reactivity to resilience.

Week 5: Integration

A week to ground and reflect. Here, you’ll synthesize what you’ve learned, weaving together hormonal awareness, metabolic wisdom, and nervous system support. You’ll be invited to choose a personal rhythm, refine your daily practice, and make space for ongoing inquiry.
