This program reflects my desire to support teachers, leaders, parents, and creatives. Janet Stone

Janet Stone

Janet’s studentship began at 17 under the meditation teachings of Prem Rawat. His reverence for simplicity and finding joy in the rise and fall of life live on in her practice and teaching today. In 1996, she traveled to India, the birthplace of her grandfather, and became dedicated to the path of yoga. Janet blends the alchemy of her own practice with decades of studentship. She aspires not to teach but to allow the practice to emanate from her, letting awareness blend with movement and breath. Based in Bali and San Francisco, she leads immersions, retreats, workshops and more.

FAQ

Which airport do I fly into for the weekend intensive?

Portland, Oregon

How do I get from the airport to our gathering space?

It is about a 1 hour drive from the airport to our gathering spot (and nearby lodging).

We will recommend folks split the cost of rental cars for rideshares. We'll facilitate this and lodging for our time together.

It is also possible to take the lightrail from the airport to Union Station and from there one train goes from Portland to White Salmon/Bingen each day.

Where will the weekend intensive be held?

We'll gather in Underwood, WA, overlooking the Columbia Gorge

How will lodging work?

We have booked several vacation rentals, with a range of room options. In addition, we can suggest a few options for camping and self-booked lodging (one popular option is the Society Hotel in Bingen).

Testimonials

What makes this mentorship program so special is not just the personal and professional growth and teachings I received, but the way they made our group part of their community. I really felt Janet and Connie’s efforts to connect with each of us and the group, which made what became a beautiful sangha even more authentic and special. Janet and Connie have a way of making every person feel seen and appreciated for who they authentically are, and guiding us to embrace (and live) that authenticity not just in our lives but in the own unique way we share yoga in our world.

Brenda

The mentorship program was like opening a surprise box. I started the program looking for answers, I knew I needed to dig deeper to get out of patterns that were not helping me. I wasn't sure what was missing in my practice/career/life but month by month, week by week, I started to get clues and understand myself better, find out what I was looking for and why.

Fabi

The mentorship program was an incredibly rich experience with ample one on one and group time. I left the program feeling both invigorated and nourished, with clear tools and practices to support my path.
