1-4 pm: Yoga | Aging: Perimenopause & the Art of Transitions
What the #@&%! is happening?
Who am I now?
Where did my energy, vitality, and sense of purpose go?
If any of this feels familiar, you’re not alone. Perimenopause often arrives quietly—until suddenly we realize we’re in the middle of it. The shifts can touch every part of us: body, sleep, mood, resilience, identity.
In this half-day immersion, we’ll explore how yoga can support us through seasons of change—whether you’re in perimenopause, post-menopause, or simply navigating the transitions that come with aging and evolving. Through movement, breath, rest, and reflection, we’ll practice meeting change with steadiness rather than resistance.
Together we’ll work with:
Stability — grounding the nervous system, finding steadiness in the body and emotions
Strength — supporting muscle, bone, and resilience through sustainable, intelligent movement
Sustainability — learning rest practices to support sleep, stress regulation, and recovery
This offering centers the lived experience of women while welcoming others who want to understand the transitions more than half of the population moves through—and how to support partners, friends, and themselves through change with more care and awareness.
Come as you are. This is a space to move, rest, ask honest questions, and meet this stage of life with more clarity, compassion, and strength.

Janet’s studentship began at 17 under the meditation teachings of Prem Rawat. His reverence for simplicity and finding joy in the rise and fall of life live on in her practice and teaching today. In 1996, she traveled to India, the birthplace of her grandfather, and became dedicated to the path of yoga. Janet blends the alchemy of her own practice with decades of studentship. She aspires not to teach but to allow the practice to emanate from her, letting awareness blend with movement and breath. Based in Bali and San Francisco, she leads immersions, retreats, workshops and more.
