We offer 200, 300, and 1008 hour programs, with options for fully virtual, hybrid or residential immersion curricula.
Residential immersions (typically 108 hours over 10-11 days) are another pathway to certification. For this option, you can also add on a virtual curriculum to complete a certification. In 2026, I'm also offering a 3-week, 300 hour immersion in Mexico.
We offer fully virtual programs for both my 200 hour and 300 hour programs. Both programs include a set of core courses plus our training core, designed to connect the community for practice, peer teaching and discussion. This is our most affordable program, with a balance of structure and flexibility.
All three programs (200 hour, 300 hour and 1008 hour) can be taken as a flexible option with a mix of core courses and electives. The chosen electives can be virtual, in-person or a mix of both. This could be a good fit for you if you want to join in person for some weekend workshops, or if you prefer some choice in your virtual curriculum.
Whether you’re beginning your journey, deepening your practice, stepping into teaching, or immersing in sadhana on and off the mat, our 200-, 300-, and 1008-hour trainings offer a path for you. With flexible options—residential immersions, virtual study, and a wide range of electives—you can shape your training to fit your lifestyle while staying rooted in devotion and practice.
Built over Janet’s many years of teaching and her extensive travel, Stone Yoga School is a global sangha where students meet and cross paths again and again. In between, we remain connected through extensive virtual training offerings.
Janet has over 3 decades of practice and more than 2 decades of teaching experience. In addition, more than 200 individuals have graduated across her 200 hour and 300 hour programs.
Guest teachers are also deeply experienced teachers and practitioners in their own fields, who offer from embodied experience and a deep connection to their work.
Her team has experience in curriculum development, teaching, and course delivery.
And all of this experience is combined with creativity, innovation, and attention to offer a potent, experiential approach to practice and sharing.
Over the past year, we’ve reimagined and rebuilt the virtual training space from the ground up. We’re using Mighty Networks, which allows us to host a private, dedicated training space just for Janet’s community.
Your training hubs, virtual courses, live practices, and events are all hosted through this single dedicated space. You can connect with the community at any time, across timezones and space for conversation and connection.
Practice is the foundation... of life, of teaching, of relationships. In-person trainings and retreats include a daily morning practice of meditation, asana, pranayama and mantra. Students are encouraged to create and sustain their own home practice throughout the training program. As a result, Stone Yoga School trainings work for students who want to deepen their practice and for those who aspire to teach.
Self-study and readings help inform a well-rounded practice that goes well beyond the asana. In this way, learning continues well beyond any individual immersion. Most trainings include both personal reflections and partner or group work intended to help us all see ourselves more clearly.
The steadiness of practice and depth of self-inquiry provides a depth of understanding of practice that emanates outward. Whether or not students go onto teach, the practices are shared with each other and in the ripple effect to those all around.
We offer 200, 300, and 1008 hour programs, with options for fully virtual, hybrid or residential immersion curricula. Take our quiz to find the best fit for you.

Janet’s studentship began at 17 under the meditation teachings of Prem Rawat. His reverence for simplicity and finding joy in the rise and fall of life live on in her practice and teaching today. In 1996, she traveled to India, the birthplace of her grandfather, and became dedicated to the path of yoga. Janet blends the alchemy of her own practice with decades of studentship. She aspires not to teach but to allow the practice to emanate from her, letting awareness blend with movement and breath. Based in Bali and San Francisco, she leads immersions, retreats, workshops and more.
