Yoga as a living practice

This immersion provides multi-dimensional study of the practices of yoga, designed to establish a foundation for your teaching to emanate from your own depth of studentship and lived experience with yoga.

  • Explore yoga as a living practice.
  • Join a global community of committed practitioners to build connection.
  • Learn through a mix of pre-recorded (on demand) training content alongside live (in-person or virtual synchronous) gatherings.
  • Establish your practice as the guide for sharing with others.

For our 2025 cohort, you can choose between two pathways:

  • Core curriculum + a residential immersion. This option is about half online and half in-person immersion.
  • Core curriculum + virtual training core + a mix of electives (electives can be in-person, virtual or a mix). This option can be fully virtual or include some in-person hours.

Both pathways include

  • Core Curriculum (100 hours of virtual courses): Living the 8 Limbs (50 hours), 5 Elements • Yoga & Ayurveda (25 hours), and Ayurveda • Living Wisdom for the Body (25 hours)
  • Graduation requirements: Partner integration and teaching capstone (about 12 hours)

This program is designed to support you in finding your own path as a student and from there, as a teacher. The full 300-hour program is registered with Yoga Alliance. Upon successful completion of the program, you’ll receive a 300-hour certificate.

You’ll have the option to register with Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level by submitting your prior 200-hour certificate and the 300-hour certificate from the Stone Yoga School.
