Join Us for 40 Days of Practice
You are welcome here.
All parts of you are embraced in the vast field of yoga.
Our vision is one of an inclusive, diverse, compassionate community that will nourish body, mind, spirit.
Janet lends a warmth and wealth of practice and knowledge to create a unique, safe, potent approach to living yoga.
Our training programs are a space for awakening, healing, learning, and remembering our true nature. Through immersive, deep Sadhana (dedicated practice), we become more intimate with our inner self, unwinding hold habits and patterns, exploring our deepest heart intention (Sankalpa) and practicing aligning our moment-to-moment choices with our intention.
Through these programs, we emphasize yoga as a living practice that becomes the foundation for sharing with others. For 2025, you can choose a residential immersion pathway or an electives pathway. Both pathways include our core curriculum, to establish a strong foundation.
Over one week, we’ll recommit (or just commit) to a pre-dawn practice including meditation, pranayama, asana, bhakti, and dharma talks. This is an opportunity to begin again, to clarify intention, to hone our focus for the year and to allow discipline to disrupt distractions and live our yoga practice through our actions.
As we clarify our intentions, we remember our soul’s deepest longing, and that can guide our actions, choices and interactions through the year.
This weeklong commitment to practice is an annual tradition for the community to come together to commit to collective daily practice.
They say it takes 40 days to make something a habit, and so over 40 days we will commit to ourselves, in the context of community, and offer a daily practice.
For many of us, developing and sustaining a home practice can be challenging. Over the past several years, most of us have moved some aspect of our practice into our homes. This course is about re-igniting or sustaining this home practice and exploring ways to make it your own.
Whether you are a yoga teacher or a dedicated lifelong practitioner, cultivating and sustaining the habit of daily practice is an integral part of moving from “doing” yoga to being yoga, allowing it to permeate your life, to move from the mat into every aspect of your life.
